The centerpiece of Glencairn's great hall is a large arch decorated with a mosaic depicting the seal of the Academy of the New Church. The seal is divided into four parts: top left, priest's mitre; top right, eagle protecting her young; bottom left, Nunc Licet temple; bottom right, Michael slaying the dragon. The seal is surmounted by a crowned lion with keys under his paws.
